B&Q: January sale sneak preview

Great news from high-street DIY giant B&Q. The company tells us that it plans to give customers an early preview of its January sale over a four-day period this weekend.

Check out the offer here >>

It says that it aims to make it easier and more affordable for customers to get their dream kitchen, bathroom or bedroom, and claims it represents potential savings of hundreds of thousands of pounds for homeowners.

So, what’s on offer? Well, from Friday November 26 until Monday November 29 the retailer is offering half price on all kitchen doors and drawer fronts, all Cooke & Lewis bathroom suites, and all Cooke & Lewis modular bedroom doors and drawer fronts, plus an extra 15 per cent off purchases over £50 to include tiling, flooring and appliances.

In order to take advantage of that 15 per cent off, just enter the discount code SALE15 at the checkout.

Sale prices during the four-day period are guaranteed into the New Year. Customers who book a free design consultation, place their order or make a purchase will receive a letter which guarantees the company will match any future B&Q price up to 28th February 2011.

If the same kitchen, bathroom or bedroom is found cheaper in the B&Q sale after Christmas, the retailer will refund the difference (see terms and condition below).

There are more than 40 styles of kitchen to choose from, from B&Q’s bespoke Cooke & Lewis range to kitchens units that can be taken away on the same day. There are also 29 bathroom suites and more than 15 bedrooms with a choice of fitted furniture, modular ranges or freestanding products.

January sale offers will feature large discounts on all kitchen and bedroom door and drawer fronts, and bathroom suites, plus additional discounts on the total purchase to include tiling, flooring and appliances.

The retailer is also continuing its current three-year interest-free credit offer to allow customers to save money and spread the cost of home improvements.

It says this will be welcome news to the 22 per cent of Brits who are not satisfied with their current kitchen, according to recent research carried out by the company by opinion pollster YouGov. It should also give an extra incentive to the 13 per cent who are planning to make some changes to their kitchens in the next 6 to 12 months, to get started in the New Year.
