Scots DIYers urged to take care over the Easter break


Handy householders in Scotland are being urged to take care when carrying out home or garden projects over the Easter break in a safety message promoted by the nation’s health service.

It’s part of a drive to prepare people for the long series of bank holiday weekends which means health services could be disrupted.

The advice also includes stocking up on over-the-counter and prescription medicines, knowing the opening hours of your GP surgery and nearest pharmacy, and checking sources of advice such as the NHS 24 website.
